Welcome to the WINDS-LAC website

The WINDS-LAC website aims to promote and enhance effective cooperation among ICT research stakeholders from Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe. The site was created in 2007 by the WINDS-LA project, supported by the EU’s Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), and in 2008 was extended to the Caribbean region with the support of the WINDS-Caribe project, supported by the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

As from January 2010, these two projects have come to an end, and therefore the website does no more provide direct support to users. In the left menu, you can anyhow find a number of links to running support measures for EU-LAC cooperation support, as well as a compendium of the two projects' results. In addition, the virtual community platform and the data base will continue open to exchange information and viewpoints about R&D cooperation. For any additional information, you can still contact us at communication@winds-lac.eu.
